New historic preservation projects.
Check out some of our latest historic preservation work for the Georgia Institute of Technology.
18th C French Rosewood bookcase
Here's an amazing French Rosewood bookcase that we restored for a client. Fortunately this piece breaks down into smaller sections because we installed it on the 52nd floor of the client's penthouse suite.
Dresser restoration for an insurance client
Here's a recent project restoring a client's dresser that was damaged due to a broken pipe. This was for an insurance claim for a USAA client.
Sponsorship of a band camp
H Restoration was a proud sponsor of the Fare Thee Well and Music On Main Street children's band camp for 2014. The camp hosted children who spent the week leaning how to play live rock and roll music. We completed the camp by having three bands of kids from the ages 8-14 play three songs each on stage for a live show on Saturday night in front of their family and friends.
Sawstop to the rescue!
We accidentally tripped our new Sawstop table saw saftey mechanism last week. Don't worry!!! It was only an aluminum taper jig that got too close to the blade. No fingers were ever in danger! It's still conforting to know that the technology is there if ever needed. You can see from the picture how the blade was stopped by the aluminum block. If one of our technicians ever did make a mistake this is what would happen which would save us a trip to the hospital.
